Hey everybody, I'm in the midst of dealing with the 8L45 transmission shudder on my 19 Z71 and thought if share my experience here for the benefit of anyone else who is dealing with this. I bought the truck new in late 2019 with 245 miles on the clock. Z71 trim, 4 door, short box, 4x4, all the options.So far 9.30@150. Interestingly enough raising the TCC Desired Slip seems to have cured my issue. For now anyway, time will tell. I found that zeroing out the TCC Desired Slip table caused increased shutter in my 11 Denali, the factory setting is tolerable, hasn't changed in 90k.Otherwise, so far my 2017 Colorado 3.6L/8L45 drive train is working fine. The 8 speed is a big improvement in smoothness over the 6L50 IMO. I have never noticed any shudder in the almost 4 years of driving it, but did have the fluid changed under the TSB back in 2018.
