Feb 7, 2024 · So I have an AP5-P SBR. I typically will shoot with my rugged obsidian 45 on the 3 lug mount in the short configuration. I shoot anything from 115gr to 147 gr subs. I have been contemplating changing out the locking piece. I know this subject is pretty beat to death across forums, but I just can't seem to find a clear answer on it. Thinking something like the Choate. Ish length should be fine though. A quick google search of MP5K specs (since it's not newer to the market) is 23.5" with the Choate stock or 22" with the B&T folder. I've never worried too much about the OAL of my firearm when it comes to the Form 1 as they don't check it anyway.
