I am on the New London County Fire Chiefs Association's ESF-2 Working Communications Group, this has come up a number of times over the past year. I hope they come onto CLMRN, as Norwich is on it, Montville now has its MOUs so we can start transitioning to the State System hopefully in the near future, and Groton is shifting over at this time.They have migrated from the old 4.1 system to the new 7.X system, all the 800 channels are still used and they added some 700 channels. The 700 was used to do the cutover so the 800 could run the old system untill it was complete, now it is just 1 big P25 system with 700 & 800 channels.CLMRN (was CSERN) 4101 is the Windham Regional Transit Bus group 20424 would be a Norwich group, perhaps related to the upcoming FD move. For example, a Middletown user going to Hartford would normally go out of range before reaching their destination. From my experience on trips to Austin, TX the SDS100 is far superior to the 436HP receiving simulcast systems. The SDS200 is also superior to the 536HP on CLMRN.
