yes i have bolted the 87 kx 250 cylinder on the tecate lowerend, and it is a direct bolt on. there is nothing you have to do differently to make it work. hook up the powervalve the same and let it rip. you will notice a little more snap over the stock tecate cylinder as the powervalves breathe better and the port timing is slightly different.
