Inspect the fuel lines to/from the CP4 and make sure they are not dry rotted/cracked or kinked in any way. Inspect all fuses.Change the fuel filter often, the Duramax fuel system is fed by suction from the fuel tank and the slightest filter plugging will starve and overwork the fuel pump.
