Kinda looking to play this with light armor and high agility but I usually play these types of games as a heavy weapon armor type.Those two weapons have great synergy (except possibly with scaling), since spear is long range heavy hits, and kusa is short range rapid hits. The spear's mid strong attack is still the safest attack in the game, in my opinion. A beautiful loss is still a loss, and an ugly win is still a win. I consider katana and spear among the harder weapons to play. Well, spear's mid strong attack can carry you very far but like the katana, it can get rather technical. So 2 schools of though: Pick Katana + spear, suffer now and master the game. Once you get used to the superior mobility of katana and spear low stance, it can be very addicting.
