If you wanted to keep the supports you could define the support extrusion width to be thicker which would make them stronger. You can also …

I've found Cura tree supports to be completely unsuitable for the complex shapes I'm trying to print whereas Prusa Slicer's basic supports have worked great for me pretty much all the time.

So thin that a couple of places the print is just failing.
