Acetone doesn't touch cerakote at all. I think it was in the acetone for at least three days. Still rock hard and no damage to the cerakote. Even bead blasting it took a while. Tough stuff. So, if acetone will remove the krylon, it should not affect the cerakote at all assuming its the normal bake on cerakote and not something else.

It holsters much better then Cerakote, and can be touched up easily if scratched. If Cerakote is scratched or chipped, you would have to completely strip and sandblast the firearm and start over. Not the case with Duracoat. It can easily be touched up.
