We moved the front inside wheel well forward a little and slightly bent back the edge of the skid plate or trimmed it a little and removed flaps; no rub at all.You do not need gears. 4.88 with 35s means a shorter final drive ratio than stock. 4.88 with 37s means a longer final drive ration than stock. Its really just personal preference. You shouldnt consider gears unless you are considering 37" tires. I believe that you will get better mpg with 35s and stock gears vs 35s and 4.88.With a true 35X12.50 tire you need less offset so you don't rub the skid. The absolute perfect offset for running 35s is a +35mm wheel. The problem is that there aren't many +35mm wheels available. But there are plenty of +25mm.
