Apogee’s mission is in a lot of ways to provide this sense of adventure, wherever it may be. And, so it seems, there is plenty of adventure to be had along the New England coast. After a long hike yesterday, this spirited group did a nice little hike to a swimming hole and bonded with a beach ball.What a day in Costa Rica! CRMC left their accommodations this morning and headed for the Costa Rican jungle! The hike to Rainforest Adventure Center Expeditions featured gorgeous scenery and cool, refreshing waterfalls. Upon their arrival, the group ate homemade Costa Rican cuisine followed by a wade in the river.

It seems that in preparation for the MLB All-Star Game tomorrow, our teams have brought their A-game today – rain or shine, rest or ride!Our service project for the group included building a hydroponic vegetable garden at the Adventure Center, as well as learning about the importance of maintaining a self-sustaining garden, without which the local community would have to go to the market to buy food (requires travel) or burn forest to clear land.Well, I suppose Apogee trips are fairytales in their own right…) After taking in the village views, they traveled from land to sea, biking along long stretches of beach and breathing in the cool, sea breeze.
