I have my own router/firewall (WatchGuard T20) connected to the ONT via DHCP with no other Fidium boxes (ie their router). I get these weird disconnects randomly through the day where either there is no Internet or no DNS available. The T20 uses 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1, and 8.8.8.8 as its DNS connections and caches locally.Just to be clear. The fiber optic line runs into my garage and connects to the small, black ONT (Optical Network Terminal) placed there by Fidium/CC. From the ONT, a CAT 5e line runs through my house coming out through the floor in corner of my living room and plugs directly into the Deco unit allowing it to offer Wi-Fi in the house.Little bit annoyed after switching over from Consolidated Fiber to Fidium Fiber at the moment. Our setup before the "upgrade" was the DZS ONT where the fiber enters the house which connected to a Cat3 for voice and Cat6 which connected to the Consolidated owned Zyxel router.All plans include.
