Bought a Remington Sportsman 48 (16 gauge) from a guy at work, got it cheap because it wouldn't cycle shells out. I tore it down (pulled the bolt and the trigger) and cleaned it, now it cycles sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure how this shotgun is supposed to work, the barrel seems to float with the action.The M-58 is basically an 870 modified to automatically load ; some 870 parts will fit and those that don't can be found . It is a good bit lighter than an 1100 and just a bit heavier than an 870 .
