I've never noticed this on any handgun before especially a 1911 where there is no gap between the trigger and frame. The downside, as I see it, is you will never find a holster for a PT-945 with this thing hung under the barrel. It's already hard enough to find one for it as is. You'll have to make your own. I'd suggest getting busy on the basics of shooting. A laser does not make you a better shot under pressure.
